Some Celtic fans have been talking about a post involving Scott Brown that was relayed on Twitter recently.
Brown was talking to BBC Scotland’s Sportsound (via BBC Sport) and was asked when he intends to call time on his career.
When asked about that, the Scotsman said he will keep going unless someone tells him that his legs have ‘completely gone’ and will ’embarrass’ himself by playing. He also said that he will keep playing for as long as he has the ‘faith’ of the manager.
Celtic1967.com relayed these comments on Twitter. It got many Celtic fans talking and they feel that Brown still has a lot in the tank. Others said that the end of his career might be approaching soon and he should play less often over the coming years.

Love the guy + everything he has done. Absolute legend.
But the end is close. Personally I think he’s struggled this season.
He shudnt play every week to the detriment of the teams success. Can still hopefully captain the side to 10 I.a.r but I don’t think he’s got 40 + games in— Gazzarinho (@gazzarinho1) April 27, 2020
Broony will know himself when he is not good enough

1 of/ our best player this season. When we struggled, and will, nobody at the club like him that can get us out just now. Nobody. Big games especially when we get steamrollered like boys in midfield he stands alone.
Needs a rest/ ultimately replaced. Hand in the pocket needed ?

What do we think?
Brown has been at Celtic for about 13 years now as he joined the club from Hibernian in the summer of 2007 (via Transfermarkt).
While that shows how experienced a campaigner Brown is at the age of 34, he’s played as many as 4,368 minutes of first-team football this season (via Transfermarkt). This goes to show that despite not being the youngest player on the pitch, he’s still a very active member of the first team.
In fact, Brown has been the second-most active player for the club this season in terms of minutes played. This means that he appears to have a lot left in the tank and only he will know the right time to hang up his boots.
