Some Celtic fans have been talking about James Forrest after a video involving the player was posted on Twitter.
Celtic-related page CelticLisboa recently posted a video of some of Forrest’s goals as a Hoops player.
On seeing this post, many Celtic fans hailed Forrest. Some made it clear that Forrest often takes unwanted criticism from many Hoops supporters.
Massively underrated by a lot of the support, unjustly in my opinion. Time the bhoy had a song sung regularly at Celtic park.

Does Forrest deserve the criticism he gets?
No, he deserves respect
He deserves criticism
My favourite player. Vastly underated. Big goals, rarely wastes the ball, excellent touch and a more intelligent player than given credit for

Forrest is a product of the Celtic youth academy and made his debut in the 2009/10 season. In total, the Scotsman has made 395 appearances in all competitions, scoring 89 goals and picking up 92 assists (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
While those goals over time show how crucial Forrest has been, his contributions this season have been vital too. He’s contributed to 38 goals in all competitions from a total of 47 games for the club this year. In the Premiership, he’s had a hand in 27 goals in 28 games (via Transfermarkt).
This is a reflection of how important a player Forrest is and it is good to see Celtic fans realise that.
