Some Celtic fans have been discussing Southampton loanee Mohamed Elyounoussi after a post about him went viral.
Celtic-related account Celtic1967.com recently posted about Elyounoussi, asking fans for their opinions over how his time at Parkhead has been so far. The post asked Celtic fans to rate him out of 10.
On reading this, many Celtic fans made it clear that while they’ve liked what they have seen, they want to see more from the Saints loanee. Some feel that he needs a regular run in the first team.
Probs around a 7… For the money they are looking for a think we can get someone in with a bit more pace

Should Celtic sign Elyounoussi on a permanent basis?
Yes, of course
Not at all
6 . Could be higher, just because of game time.

Looks decent just a shame he got injured I’d maybe take him on loan again might be a bit too expensive to sign him permanently

7, unlucky with the injury.

A complete waste of time tbh. Had a good initial 2 months and the next 4 on the treatment table. Not his fault obviously but we need our players on the park. Just take a look at Broony and Calmac.

Since joining Celtic, Elyounoussi, who is now valued at £8.55 million (as per Transfermarkt), has made 20 appearances in all competitions while contributing to a total of 13 goals. In the Premiership, he has contributed to six goals in 10 games (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
While those are good numbers for Elyounoussi, the fact that he’s missed 11 games due to injury shows that he hasn’t had a regular run in the first team. In that sense, it will be better to make a judgment of his abilities if and when he does play on a regular basis.
