Some Celtic fans have been raving over the latest tweet that club legend John Hartson sent out on Twitter recently.
Hartson tweeted a video in which a Premiership winners’ medal is received through a letterbox. The caption of the video included no fewer than nine shamrock emojis. This video came after the SPFL announcement about ending the 2019/20 season in the Championship, League 1 and League 2.
On watching this video, many Celtic fans were raving. They could only hail what Hartson did in the video.

While the statement from the SPFL doesn’t mean that Celtic have been handed the Premiership title, the divisions below have seen the teams in first place get crowned as champions. The decision was passed after the agreement of 81% of the total members. It is now up to the SPFL to determine whether the top flight will suffer the same fate as the lower divisions.
What do we think?
While it remains anyone’s guess if Celtic will be handed the Premiership title or not, Hartson’s tweet shows that he is confident about it. Considering the Hoops are at the top of the table and have a 13-point lead (via Whoscored), they would deserve it if the Premiership season is cancelled.
The comments of the Celtic fans suggest that they would love to see their side seal the ninth title in a row, even in these unfamiliar circumstances.
