As the post says,Burns made 503 appearances in all competitions for the Hoops, scoring 82 goals.
Burns was a midfielder by trade and had joined the Hoops as a youngster, making his debut in April 1975 before leaving in the summer of 1989 to join Kilmarnock (via Transfermarkt).
What do we think?
As a Bhoys player, Burns won the Premiership title as many as six times and also won the Scottish Cup five times. This goes to show what an impact he had at Parkhead and it also proves that he indeed was a club legend. The fans are right to hail the Scotsman.
