Some Celtic fans have been talking about the latest update that the Daily Record’s Keith Jackson recently posted about the Premiership season.
Jackson tweeted the update on Monday morning of an exclusive about how Scottish football has been ‘locked out’ of talks that the UK government is holding with regards to resuming football in the country. His article called the current crisis an ‘existential threat’ for clubs in Scotland.
When Jackson tweeted this article out, it got many Celtic fans talking. While some couldn’t make sense of the story, the others thought it was very much a confirmation of the fact that Celtic will win the title.
No fact check carried out in the writing of this article……..

Will Celtic be handed the Premiership title this season?
I don't think so
Yes, surely
This is not a story Keith, why would the SFA/SPFL have any part in the EPL talks, we are a devolved government and sport is under our control. If we wanted to start football in Scotland tmrw and given the green light by SGov we could.

Jackson’s article talked about how Scottish football has been ‘left in the dark’ from the talks about resuming the game.
What do we think?
While the article is certainly an alarming update, considering Celtic are 13 points clear at the top of the table and have already won the League Cup and are in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup (via Transfermarkt).
But considering their lead at the top of the table, the Hoops should have an advantage over the others in the title-race. It is time to wait and watch.
