Supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to a Twitter post from Tim Spiers on how Diogo Jota is spending time in quarantine.
According to the Athletic journalist, the Portuguese attacker is spending his days playing Football Manager and has taken ‘Telford United to the Premier League in 2029’ (as per Tim Spiers), which Wolves fans reacted to.
Diogo Jota is spending quarantine playing Football Manager and has taken Telford United to the Premier League in 2029 which I think we should all take a moment to appreciate.

Would you like to see any of Wolves' first-team players replace Nuno Espirito Santo as manager one day?Yes, I think some of them would be goodNo, we don't have any suitable candidates |
Over the duration of the season so far, the 23-year-old forward has been the sixth-best performer for Wolves in the Premier League with a 6.89/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
To earn the rating, Jota has bagged six goals and one assist in 25 league outings (per WhoScored) and clearly left supporters keen to discuss his virtual exploits.
… An achievement that Telford Utd fans will remember for many years to come? ?

He’s doing it the proper way, start with a none league club and take them to the premier league! I love him even more now!

What a man…. any idea on what his team looks like?

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses from Wolves supporters, Jota clearly has a strong rapport with the fans as they are so keen to hear about his exploits on Football Manager through Spiers’ tweet.
However, to have taken Telford United to the Premier League from the National League North by 2029 is quite the feat from the £25.2 million-rated man, so Jota is certainly deserving of the praise coming his way.
