Fans of Wolverhampton Wanderers have been reacting to a transfer link between the Old Gold and Galatasaray defender Christian Luyindama.
According to Fanatik, as cited by Sport Witness, Nuno Espirito Santo’s side is interested in bringing the DR Congolese defender to Molineux. However, his club is keen to keep him (via Talking Wolves), which Wolves fans reacted to.

Would you be pleased if Wolves signed Christian Luyindama in the next transfer window?Yes, seems like a decent playerNo, doesn't seem good enough |
So far this season, the 26-year-old centre-back has been the ninth-best performer for his side in the Super Lig with a respectable 6.96/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
However, with the report also revealing that Aston Villa are interested in signing the defender, that was enough for some Wolves fans to be put off the rumoured signing.
anyone aston villa are interested in we need to steer clear of

Looks like a cross between Roman Reigns and Adama Traore

If Villa are interested we should stay well clear.

What do we think?
Just because Dean Smith’s side is also interested in signing the player seems a little bit of a whimsical excuse from some supporters to not want the £4.95 million-rated man (per Transfermarkt).
A much better reason would be his defensive statistics, which are dwarfed by that of Willy Boly. In the Premier League, the French defender has an average of 2.7 tackles, 1.9 interceptions and 5.4 clearances a game on average (per WhoScored).
Over ten Super Lig games so far this season, though, Luyindama has made 1.7 tackles, 1.2 interceptions and 3.8 clearances per game on average (per WhoScored), which are clearly weaker than Boly’s stats.
