Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a transfer report which has stated that Declan Rice is ‘off-limits’ in the transfer market.
According to Claret and Hugh, the English midfielder is ‘off-limits’ in the next transfer window unless a ‘closer to £100 million than £60 million’ bid arrived (via West Ham Transfers), which fans reacted to.
West Ham have put Declan Rice “off limits” to all clubs and would only entertain offers off £100m [@ClaretandH] pic.twitter.com/64Q0cn9gkh

That means he will be off in the summer for £50 million

That’s not off limits then is it ???

As long as it puts clubs off I don’t care

If an offer of £65 million arrived for Declan Rice, would you want it accepted?Yes, would be good money for himNo, he is worth far more than that |
Over the duration of the season so far, Rice has been the fourth-best performer for the Irons in the Premier League with a 6.95/10 average rating (per WhoScored).
So, following the report which stated that the 21-year-old is ‘off-limits’ unless a huge bid arrives (per Claret and Hugh), fans continued to air their reactions.
So not off limits, for the right price

And if Rice and his agent want a move, then what?

Excellent news ,got to keep your best players, otherwise just be going round in circles ,will never progress

What do we think?
As can be seen in the responses from West Ham supporters, there is quite a range of reactions. A few believe he will still be leaving for less than touted. Others believe that the report does not mean that he is ‘off-limits’, and some think that it is good news.
Although Rice has four seasons remaining on his current contract following the conclusion of this term, a market value of £44.55 million (per Transfermarkt) would suggest that £100 million could be way over the odds.
