To kick off this quiz on the goings-on with the Hammers last week, West Ham fans were left furious with a transfer report that revealed what late in the week?

Should David Martin have made more than five Premier League appearances this season?

No, he's just a back-up 'keeper

No, he's just a back-up 'keeper

Yes, he proved he's good enough

The footage was following the Irons’ 1-0 victory over the Blues in November of last year, where Martin kept a clean sheet and Aaron Cresswell scored the winner early in the second half (per BBC).

So, after the club re-shared the footage to their Twitter account (per West Ham), supporters continued to show their appreciation of the moment and the goalkeeper.

What do we think?

While the appearance against Frank Lampard’s side was one of just five that the 34-year-old has made in the Premier League this season (per Transfermarkt), it is one that is likely to live in memories for a long time to come.

As can be judged from the responses of supporters, they loved the occasion and clearly respect the veteran stopper massively.
