Spurs fans have been discussing an article from Football.London journalist Alasdair Gold, in which he predicts what Jose Mourinho’s squad could look like in a few years.
The journalist shared a link to his article on Twitter, which has attracted the attention of a lot of Lilywhites supporters. He includes names such as Danny Rose and Kyle Walker-Peters as those who are only likely to have a short-term career with the North London club under Mourinho, whilst big names such as Harry Kane, Heung-Min Son and Dele Alli all fall under his long-term prediction.
Although a lot of fans seem to agree with Gold’s predictions on the squad, many seem to think that Mourinho won’t still be with the Lilywhites in three years time, or worry about the state of the club if he was still around.
Do you think Mourinho will still be Spurs manager in 2023?
Yes
No
Reaction from Spurs fans to the post from Gold can be seen in the tweets below.

He better not still be here and ‘shaping the squad’ after 2 years. His style is awful and he needs to go

Pretty sure he is not gonna last that long

These Spurs fans clearly don’t think that Mourinho will still be managing the North London club in three years’ time.
What do we think?
Mourinho’s contract is set to run until 2023 so it will be interesting to see whether he is still at the club then and whether he will be able to rebuild his squad, something which Mauricio Pochettino arguably failed to do during the last summer transfer window.
