Spurs fans have been reacting to some footage from their game against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge in 2016, which resulted in Leicester City being named champions.
Talking THFC shared the footage of the game, which was originally uploaded via @MarkOHaire, suggesting that the North London club ‘went down fighting’, as they picked up a remarkable nine yellow cards during the match. Goals from Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son had given Mauricio Pochettino’s hope of keeping their hopes of winning the league alive but an Eden Hazard equaliser in the 83rd minute meant that it would be the Foxes who claimed the Premier League title.
The footage shows some extremely strong challenges from the likes of Eric Dier and Danny Rose, with the Lilywhites perhaps fortunate that they were able to keep all 11 men on the pitch.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the footage, despite the result leading to them losing any chance of winning the league.
What do we think?
It is a good job that this game took place pre-VAR, as the Spurs players were clearly up for it that night and perhaps with VAR a few of Pochettino’s side would have seen red.
