Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to some footage of Mauricio Pochettino after he admitted to BT Sport he would love to return to the North London club.
Daily Hotspur shared the footage on Twitter after it was originally posted by BT Sport Football, with the Argentinian speaking with BT Sport as they replayed Spurs’ Champions League semi-final win against Ajax from last season. In the footage, he suggests that he would love to return to the Lilywhites one day and is still determined to finish the project he started there when he was appointed back in 2014.
The 48-year-old was sacked as Spurs boss in November of last year after a dreadful start to the 2019/20 campaign and was replaced by Jose Mourinho. Recent reports have suggested that he is the favourite to take over at Newcastle United, but it seems as if the Lilywhites still remain close to his heart.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the footage of Pochettino and would love to see him return to the club one day.
What do we think?
It is good to see that Pochettino still holds Spurs so close to his heart, but with Mourinho’s contract with the Lilywhites set to run until 2023, it would be a surprise to see him return anytime soon.
