Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from Harry Kane after he shared a post suggesting that he, and several other Premier League players, have created a player initiative which will see money given to the NHS.
The England captain posted an image with all the details on how Premier League players would be contributing to the National Health Service to help deal with the current viral outbreak. The 26-year-old has spent the last few months recovering from a hamstring tear he suffered early in January but is still Spurs’ top scorer this season in all competitions, having hit 17 goals before his injury.
With the Premier League currently suspended, players will no doubt be keen to do all they can to help deal with the viral outbreak, perhaps in the hope that it soon becomes safe for football to return. If the Premier League does return this season, then the Englishman could have a big impact on whether the North London club are able to secure Champions League football next season, as they slipped to eighth in the table in his absence.
Should Kane be praised for his actions?

These Spurs fans are clearly delighted that Kane and other Premier League players are stepping up in these difficult times.
What do we think?
It is good that Premier League players are making the most of their wealth to try and make a difference, and as England captain, you would hope that Kane’s decision to get involved will inspire plenty of other top footballers to do the same.
