Spurs fans have flocked to a tweet from Alasdair Gold which shares Tanguy Ndombele’s Instagram post.

The French midfielder posted on his Instagram page saying: ‘Rien à Signaler’ alongside a highlights video of himself playing for Spurs. This translates to ‘nothing to report’ and seems to be the 23-year-old’s own response to some of the transfer links that have emerged in recent weeks.

Alasdair Gold has since shared this news on his Twitter page, which has attracted the attention of plenty of supporters of the North London club. Spurs signed the midfielder from Lyon in a club-record deal last summer, but a disappointing first season in the Premier League had perhaps led to reports that he was ready to quit the Lilywhites this summer.

These Spurs fans are clearly happy with the news on Ndombele and seem to think that he is here to stay.

What do we think?

Hopefully, the current Premier League suspension has given Ndombele some time to work on the fitness issues that have allegedly been a problem throughout the season and then perhaps he will be able to improve on his 6.76 average rating in the Premier League when football resumes.
