Spurs fans have flocked to a post from the North London club providing an update on Heung-Min Son.
The Lilywhites confirmed on Twitter earlier this week that the South Korean forward would commence a brief period of mandatory military service.
The 27-year-old successfully avoided having to complete 21 months of national service after he helped his country to an Asian Games win in 2018 but has opted to complete some training during the current suspension of Premier League football, with the club suggesting that he will return to London in May.
Do you think Son will be fully fit by the time the Premier League resumes?
Yes
No

Huh? He’s doing military service for 2 months only, not 2 years? And that, when he was excused due to winning the Asia Cup? Confused right now…

Wow why we making him go to war?

These Spurs fans clearly don’t seem too keen on the prospect of Son having to do military training and will quick to pass on their good wishes.
What do we think?
This is probably the ideal timing for Son to do his mandatory military training considering there is no top-flight football at the moment. It seems as if he has nearly recovered from his fractured arm injury and will hopefully be fully fit by the time the Premier League does resume.
