Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing the latest transfer rumour which links them with a move for Real Madrid defender Sergio Reguilón.
According to Spanish news outlet ABC de Sevilla (via Hotspur Related), Spurs are one of several clubs taking an interest in the left-back and have made an enquiry about the 23-year-old. So far this season, the young defender, who is on loan at Sevilla, has averaged an impressive 7.14 rating across his 22 appearances in the Spanish top-flight (per WhoScored).
Spurs look set to be without Danny Rose next season after the 29-year-old’s reported fall-out with Jose Mourinho earlier in the season, so it is easy to understand why the Lilywhites are being linked with a left-back ahead of the summer transfer window. The Spanish full-back is currently valued at £18 million by Transfermarkt, so he could certainly be a viable option for Mourinho ahead of next season.
