Spurs fans have been discussing Mousa Dembele on Twitter after it was revealed he is considering his retirement.
The Belgian spoke to Nieuwsblad regarding his future in football, saying: “I don’t think I’ll still play football in Belgium. I’ve another two-year contract, I want to finish off. After that, much will depend on how I feel physically.” (via LastWordonSpurs)
The 32-year-old left Spurs to join Chinese side Guangzhou R&F in January of last year, having made 249 appearances for the Lilywhites.
Injuries took their toll during his time at the North London club and perhaps led to a premature departure last year, however, he has impressed in his performances in China so far this season; averaging a superb 7.41 rating for his performances in the Super League.

These Spurs fans clearly still rate Dembele highly after his time with the club.

Dembele was an excellent player for Spurs, evidenced by his incredible 2015/16 season; when he managed a superb 7.69 average rating for his performances in the Premier League and had he managed to avoid injuries, perhaps he would still with the Lilywhites.
