Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest reported news surrounding Reds midfielder Naby Keita.
This comes after Liverpool fan Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying comments made by Reds journalist James Pearce in a recent Q&A for The Athletic.
When asked if he thinks Klopp will keep his faith in Keita, Pearce claimed that the German “isn’t one to give up on people easily, especially if your attitude is good and you are fully committed to the cause. Naby Keita certainly ticks that box.”
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to share their reactions to this statement from Pearce.

He will come good – Bobby didn’t hit the ground running – he will be a great player for us next season

I love naby but it will be very hard to change things around. I feel to be in a Klopp midfield u have to be able to run through walls- physicality is not his best suit. Still a baller but has to stay fit to make it a conversation.

Should Liverpool keep or sell Naby Keita this summer?
Keep him
Sell him
Since arriving at Anfield in 2018, Keita’s time as a Liverpool player has been disrupted by numerous injuries that have plagued the 25-year-old, resulting in the midfielder missing 27 games for the Merseyside club (per Transfermarkt). Now that Pearce has come out and shared the faith he believes Klopp has in Keita to become a more prominent figure in the Reds squad, this has paved the way for lots of Liverpool fans to share their opinions on the midfielder.
That’s why he’s held on to lallana and Shaq and also Lovren
Coz they delivered when they had to though not in the opening lineup

One of the best records @LFC this season. Doing something right. He looks hit and miss but when he grows into a game he looks like he could be class

If he can stay fit and have a run of games he will be excellent. Defo one to keep

What do we think?
It’s good to see that some of these Liverpool fans are confident that Keita can put his injury issues behind him and progress at the club.
