Spurs fans have been discussing Lucas Moura after it was suggested that he could leave the club this summer as a swap deal.

Tuttosport (via Calcio Mercato) reported that Spurs could offer the Brazilian to Napoli to try and bring in Arkadiusz Milik, which has led to lots of Spurs fans discussing whether or not they would keep the former PSG man at the club. The 27-year-old has made 99 appearances for the North London club in his time there; contributing 23 goals and nine assists.

Where was Kane's first loan spell?

So far this season, the winger has disappointed somewhat, contributing just four goals in the Premier League in 27 appearances. However, the injury to Harry Kane in January has meant that he has regularly been deployed as a striker, which he admitted to not enjoying during the reign of Mauricio Pochettino.

A sample of tweets from Spurs fans discussing Moura and whether or not they would let him leave this summer can be seen below.

Most of these Spurs fans seem to think that Moura is a bench option at best and perhaps wouldn’t be too sad to see him leave.

What do we think?

Of course, Moura will always be remembered by Spurs fans for his hat-trick in last year’s Champions League semi-final but now that they have the likes of Steven Bergwijn and Heung-Min Son available, perhaps the £28.8 million rated man will only be an option off the bench when Mourinho has a fully fit squad available to him.
