Spurs fans have been discussing some quotes from Paulo Gazzaniga after the ‘keeper suggested that the North London club try and sign Boca Juniors midfielder Jorman Campuzano.
In an interview with Argentine radio station FM 94.7, as cited by TYC Sports (via TranSPURS), he answered a question asking which Argentinian league player he would recommend to Jose Mourinho if he asked. He responded, saying:
“If Mourinho asks me for a reinforcement of Argentine soccer, I tell him to bring Jorman Campuzano” per TranSPURS.
So far this season, the Colombian has averaged an impressive 7.12 rating for his performances in the Argentine Superliga and has two caps for his national side; having made his debut in 2018. Valued at just £2.25 million by Transfermarkt, perhaps Mourinho should take on Gazzaniga’s advice and bring in the defensive-midfielder this summer.
Do you think the club should take Gazzaniga's advice and take a look at Campuzano?YesNo |

These Spurs fans seem to think that the club should take Gazzaniga’s advice and take a look at Campuzano.
What do we think?
Spurs are arguably in need of a defensive midfielder, having seen Victor Wanyama join Montreal Impact in February, whilst both Eric Dier and Harry Winks have struggled there this season, so perhaps Mourinho should send some scouts to take a look at Campuzano.
