Spurs fans on Twitter have been discussing Steven Bergwijn’s time with the North London club so far.
Twitter user Lilywhite Rose asked supporters for their opinions on the Dutch winger, which attracted plenty of Spurs fans in the replies. The 22-year-old joined Spurs from PSV Eindhoven in the January transfer window and has so far made seven appearances for the North London club; scoring two goals.
It had looked as if an ankle injury had ended the young winger’s season before the Premier League suspension but Spurs fans could yet get to see some more of their January signing should the season resume.

Very promising. A lot to like. Seems to have a good attitude. Clearly not a central striker, looks best wide. Fast and skillful. Shame about the injury, suffered like so many from over playing in Kane’s absence.

One fan even stated that they can’t wait to see him Harry Kane, Giovani Lo Celso and Son-Heung min play together, which hasn’t yet happened due to Kane’s injury.
If we weren’t terrible hed have had a couple assists or wouldve played a big part in another couple goals. Looks good. Cant wait to see him, kane, son and gio play together

7/10 Impressive first game vs Man City, a potential player who can grow up at the club well.

These Spurs fans seem impressed with Bergwijn’s impact in his short time at the club and look forward to seeing what more he can offer next season.
What do we think?
The Spurs prospects first two performances against Manchester City and Aston Villa were perhaps his most impressive and although he tailed off slightly, he could be a big player for Jose Mourinho when he has the likes of Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son back fit and playing alongside the Dutch winger.
