Some Celtic fans have talked about an SPFL update that emerged on social media recently.
STV recently reported that there aren’t ‘enough dates’ for the season’s remaining games to take place ahead of the following campaign. The members of the SPFL have been passed on this information, the outlet claimed.
The Daily Record relayed this information on Twitter recently. On reading this, many Celtic fans were left discussing how the season should end. Many of them feel that this means another league title for the Hoops. Others said that the next season can be pushed forward to play out the current one.

How do you want the season to end?
Cancel it
Play it out
That’s quite obvious isn’t it unless they scrap league cup next season or adjust leagues

It’s not important that the next campaign starts on time.

What do we think?
The Premiership was suspended earlier this year, just days before Celtic’s Old Firm derby against Rangers. More recently, the suspension date was extended to the first week of June, while the SPFL’s resolution on ending the season in leagues below the Premiership passed on Wednesday evening.
Celtic’s big lead at the top of the table shows that they will be in an advantageous position, no matter what decision is made about the rest of the season.
