Spurs fans have been discussing a tweet from Toby Alderweireld after the Belgian defender shared footage of his daughter getting involved in a team training session.
The 31-year-old posted a tweet showing his young daughter featuring in a virtual training session with the rest of the Tottenham Hotspur squad, which has delighted a lot of Spurs fans. The centre-back joined Spurs from Atletico Madrid in 2015 and has gone on to make 195 appearances for the Lilywhites; contributing seven goals and five assists.
Alderweireld was “strongly linked” with a move away from Spurs over the summer but he committed his future to the club shortly after Jose Mourinho was appointed as manager of the Lilywhites. So far this season, the Belgian international has averaged a solid, if unspectacular, 6.79 rating for his performances in the Premier League, as per WhoScored.com.

These Spurs fans clearly enjoyed the tweet from Alderweireld, although one fan took the opportunity to mock Tanguy Ndombele.
What do we think?
It is good to see the players regularly keeping fit with each other and one benefit of the current lockdown is perhaps that players can spend more time with their families, as Alderweireld looks to be doing with his daughter.
