Aston Villa fans have been calling on Twitter for their club to not sign Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos.
This comes after Villa news Twitter account @AVFC_News shared a post on their official page asking their followers if they would “gamble” on the “controversial” Colombian.
This post then gathered a number of replies from Villa fans who were adamant they would not want to see the centre-forward join the club anytime soon.
Here’s a sample of Villa fans responding to the post:
Would you gamble on the controversial Alfredo Morelos? #AVFChttps://t.co/r6UinnsfeM

Too much of a hot head… would rather the money was spent on a couple of top wingers. With the right service Samatta and Wesley would flourish!

No for me ,temper all to wrong for prem would spend more time suspended than playing but a great player when playing

Should Villa make a move for Alfredo Morelos?
Yes, he's quality
No, don't want/need him
The Colombian, who is currently valued at £13.5 million according to Transfermarkt, has been Rangers’ standout performer so far this campaign with a Europa League rating of 7.53/10 (per WhoScored). Now that the question has been put to these Villa fans on whether or not they think their club should make a move for the centre-forward, this has sparked a big reaction on Twitter with many Villans sceptical on a potential transfer move for the Rangers star.
No chance. For £35 mill?! We’ve already got 2 decent strikers now in Wesley and samatta ready for next season. Would rather see that kind of money spent on a winger – benrahma / rashica

Nope!!

Why? We just signed Samatta. Wesley coming back soon. Why not by a good defender instead?

What do we think?
It seems that these Villa fans have their minds made up on a potential move for Morelos. Given that Villa signed Mbwana Samatta and Borja Baston in the previous January transfer window, it’s understandable why they’d be less than keen to add another forward player to the squad.
