Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been discussing some footage of Mauricio Pochettino explaining the difference between his team and the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool. The video was recorded during the Argentinian’s time as the Spurs boss and the post has been shared by @LastWordOnSpurs on Twitter.
Here is what some of the club’s faithful have had to say in response to the clip.
“The difference between Tottenham and teams built to win.” That sums everything up in a nutshell.

Gotta love the man. I hope he will return at some point. Favourite manager since forever. #POCHBANTZ

He loved the players and the fans, over achieved with the tools at his disposal. Levy and Lewis only in it for one thing and will sell the club in the coming years

What a fantastic job he did considering “the tools” he needed to work with under Levy and Lewis…

Was Mauricio Pochettino sacked unfairly?
Yes
No
Even With this video, you’ll have spurs fans defending Levy ??

What do we think?
Based on the above responses, it’s clear that many Spurs fans still hold Mauricio Pochettino in high regard despite a difficult start to this season. At the time of his sacking, back in November, the Lilywhites were in 14th place in the Premier League. He was replaced almost immediately by the former Chelsea and Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
It appears to be a common belief amongst these supporters that the thing preventing the club winning major honours is the hierarchy rather than the team’s management. Many fans have been angered by the recent announcement that Tottenham Hotspur are going to furlough 550 members of staff in response to the viral outbreak that has seen English football suspended.
