Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the reported news that Jose Mourinho has personally contacted Norwich City defender Max Aarons.
According to Soccer Link (via Daily Hotspur), the Portuguese manager has been in contact with the 20-year-old, who he wants to sign this summer as competition for Serge Aurier. Although the right-back has only delivered a disappointing 6.52 rating in the Premier League this season, it seems as if Mourinho is trying to convince him to make the move to the Lilywhites ahead of next season.
Whilst Aurier has impressed in his performances in the Premier League this season – averaging a 7.18 rating – it is perhaps no surprise that the north London club are keen on reinforcements, considering they have kept just four clean sheets in the Premier League this season.

What do we think?
With Kyle Walker-Peters thought to be on his way out of the north London club, it is perhaps not a surprise to see Mourinho keen to bring in some young competition for Aurier this summer. It will be interesting to see how much Norwich will allow their £18 million-rated man leave for should Spurs make an official approach.
