Spurs fans have been reacting to the news that the club have been fined €20,000 (£17,774) after Jose Mourinho caused the home Champions League tie against RB Leipzig to kick off late.
According to the Evening Standard (via The Spurs Web), the club were fined, with Mourinho at fault, after the home tie of the Champions League knockout game was forced to kick off late. The Lilywhites lost the home leg 1-0 after a penalty from Timo Werner and were subsequently knocked out of the competition after Julian Nagelsmann’s side recorded a comfortable 3-0 home victory to seal a 4-0 aggregate win.
The report also suggests that Nagelsmann caused the game at the Red Bull Arena to kick off late, but the Bundesliga side were let off with a warning.

These Spurs fans are clearly frustrated with Mourinho after the news, although some took the opportunity to joke about how the fine could impact their summer transfer budget.
What do we think?
It seems strange that the club are willing to pick up the bill on this one when the report is suggesting that it was entirely Mourinho’s fault.
