A lot of Newcastle United fans have replied to a tweet from Steve Wraith that shows two pictures of Newcastle’s training ground.
In the first image, a paddling pool can be seen with a few players in it, and on the second four Newcastle players appear to be in bins.
Mr Wraith claims that the first thing the new owners need to do is get rid of the paddling pool.
This post from Mr Wraith has received a big reaction from many Newcastle fans.
Do you think the training ground needs improving?
Yes, it is awful
No, it is fine
Joking aside, this is an absolute disgrace.
A premier league club..And the southern press wonder why we have wanted Ashley out all this time?
I’m going on now but, I look at these pictures and I can’t believe it.

Looking at that picture makes me think we’re a League 1/League 2 team

An all time classic shot this one. The paddling pool, I tell people about it and they don’t believe me! Brilliant.

What do we think?
It is ridiculous that a Premier League club has to use a bin and a paddling pool at their training ground and looking at this, it is no wonder why Rafael Benitez wanted the training ground to be improved (via Daily Express).
Newcastle are currently in the middle of a proposed takeover with the deal agreed with Mike Ashley and now going through the Premier League’s owners’ and directors’ test.
Should this be given the all-clear then, Newcastle will have new owners, and judging by these pictures, they could do with investing in the training ground.
