What do we think?
Lee joined Newcastle from Charlton Athletic in 1992 for £700,000 and departed the club in 2002 to join Derby County and, going off some of these replies, is seen as a Newcastle legend.
This footage of Lee’s goals for Newcastle is just under two and a half minutes long and consists of some fine finishes – so it is no wonder that many Toon fans loved him.
Even now, Lee always talks positively about Newcastle and remembers the side he was part of, and judging by the replies to this tweet, he is considered a hero by many Toon fans.
