A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a tweet from @ManuLonjon, a French journalist who works for Eurosport.
He claims that the Toon’s future owners are looking at Emmanuel Dennis of Club Brugge and Dries Mertens of Napoli.
A takeover of Newcastle is edging closer to completion, and if Lonjon is to be believed, the Toon are already looking at potential summer signings.
This tweet has sparked a wild reaction from many Newcastle fans who are excited about the future.
Do you believe Benitez could come back under a new regime?
Yes, he has unfinished business
No, we could do better if we have new owners

What do we think?
Many Newcastle fans think that if their club are interested in Mertens, then a return for Rafael Benitez is on the cards.
Benitez did buy Mertens for Napoli, and under the former Liverpool boss, the Belgian international played 98 games.
However, surely it is too early to speculate about a return for Benitez?
What is clear, though, is that if this post from Lonjon is true, then the Toon’s potential new owners could have some good targets in mind.
