Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports that Independiente coach Lucas Pusineri has claimed he would like to bring Sergio Aguero back to the club.
According to reports in Argentinian publication Infierno Rojo, Pusineri recently stated: “With Sergio Aguero and Lucas Biglia I have a beautiful relationship. Of course, it would be nice to have them tomorrow. In the future, it is hopeful to count on them.”
In reaction to the comments, which were relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that their striker is going nowhere.
Independiente have launched 'Operation Aguero' in a bid to persuade the 31-year-old to return to Argentina this summer.

What do we think?
While Aguero remains under contract with City until at least 2021, it would appear unlikely that Independiente would be able to afford the £46.8 million-rated striker.
However, Aguero has previously stated that he would like to return to the club one day, claiming (via Goal): “I always try [to get back to Argentina]. I know what the fans [of Independiente] want, but I have a contract with City, and I try to focus on these two years I’ve got left. Then I’ll see what I’ll do but of course, the Rojo [Independiente] is my priority.”
As such, it would appear that Aguero does have plans to return to Argentina one day, but when that day will actually come, only he knows.
