A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to a post from NUFC 360 that alleges to show documents exchanged between St James Holdings and PCP.
The documents pictured appear to have Amanda Staveley’s signature on them, and further digging reveals a payment of £150m as well as another of £13m.
This latest update has got many Newcastle fans excited at the possibility of a takeover, and now that there is evidence of money exchanging hands, many Toon fans are hopeful that Mike Ashley’s time on Tyneside is nearly over.
Are you now confident a takeover is going through?

What do we think?
This is a significant update and seems to suggest that a takeover is as close as ever.
NUFC 360 (via @alcxt) seems to believe that what these documents mean is that Ashley has agreed to sell the club.
Staveley and PCP don’t have to pay all of the purchase price upfront, and in the meantime, Ashley gets security over PCP’s assets.
This is all huge news, and if it is true, then Newcastle United might be under new ownership sooner rather than later.
