A lot of Newcastle United fans have responded to a tweet from the Evening Chronicle as they asked fans if they wanted to keep Valentino Lazaro at the club beyond the end of his loan deal.
The Austrian international arrived at the Toon in January on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy for a fee believed to be around £20m.
Since then, he has made five appearances in all competitions and scored one goal, but it seems that these Newcastle fans are not that keen on keeping him at the club.
Do you want Newcastle to sign Lazaro in the summer?
Yes
No
NUFC have a fee agreed for this man if all parties want to turn loan into a permanent move.

No. Not good enough.

No. He gives the ball away cheaply and looks lazy. Should fit in well here.

Not seen enough of him but he’s no defender I know that much

I’ve never seen a player give the ball away cheaply as much for a long time. No.

Other Toon supporters, though, would like to see him sign permanently.
I think he looks reasonable as a right winger. Id take a punt on him yes. Never a RWB though. I think he could turn out to be very decent as a right winger

What do we think?
Lazaro has struggled in the Premier League, with the 24-year-old Newcastle’s worst-performing player in the league, according to WhoScored.
Still, it seems that his one performance on the wing against West Bromwich Albion in the FA Cup has convinced some Toon fans that he is good enough.
However, there are still a lot of Newcastle supporters who do not want him, and it will be interesting to see if Lazaro is on Tyneside next season or not.
