Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays reports of the latest in Leroy Sane’s proposed move to Bayern Munich.
According to reports in German publication Sport Bild (via iMiaSanMia), following a telephone call between Hansi Flick, Bayern’s manager, and Leroy Sane, negotiations between Bayern Munich and Manchester City are set to begin, with reports suggesting that City are hoping for around €85million (£73.8million) for the winger, while Bayern will look to offer around €70million (£60.8million).
In reaction to the reports, which were relayed by Man City Xtra on Twitter, fans of the club have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many suggesting an offer which they would find acceptable for Sane to leave the club, while others have suggested that they would rather see the winger leave on a free at the end of his current contract.

85 or he goes nowhere. I’d rather let him go on a free.

Take the money and buy Sancho, develop Braaf into the first team aswell. It’s not an awful deal. We have options.

What do we think?
While it would appear that City fans are somewhat split as to whether they would like to see Sane leave the club this summer, it would seem that the most sensible option for City would be to take the money that Bayern would be willing to offer and run.
If they don’t, then Sane just has to wait until the end of next season for his contract to expire, after which he will leave the club for free.
