Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays comments made by Ilkay Gundogan on Wolves centre-forward Raul Jimenez.
During an interview with ESPN, City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan claimed that Jimenez reminds him of Robert Lewandowski, as well as stating: “I think he has everything a world-class striker needs. For a striker, he is so mobile, but also physically so good and talented technically on the ball. I can imagine him playing with us.”
In reaction to Gundogan’s comments, which were relayed by City Chief on Twitter, fans of Manchester City have flocked to have their say on the matter, with many claiming that Jimenez is too old for City to sign, while others have suggested players that they would rather see their club make a move for this summer.

What do we think?
While it is true that Jimenez is 28 years old (not 29, as one fan claimed), it is hard to argue that the Mexican forward has not proved his ability in the Premier League.
Including his initial year-long loan spell at Wolves, the striker has scored 39 goals in 88 appearances for the club, in addition to providing a further 18 assists.
22 of those goals have come this season, with 13 of them being in the Premier League, in which the £36 million-rated forward has averaged a highly impressive 7.29 WhoScored match rating.
Despite this, however, should City make a move for the 28-year-old this summer, it would not appear to please many of the City fans.
