Fans of Manchester City have been reacting to a post on Twitter discussing City defender Aymeric Laporte.
In the post, which was tweeted by City Chief, the account challenges fans of the club to describe Aymeric Laporte in one word.
In reaction, fans have flocked to have their say – with many slightly bending the rules – claiming that the 25-year-old is the best player at the club, while others have stated their belief that Laporte is a wall in the heart of their defence.

What do we think?
City fans have been extremely complimentary in their descriptions of the £67.5 million-rated centre-back – and it is not difficult to see why.
Although the 25-year-old has been sidelined with injuries for large spells of this season, he has still impressed in his seven Premier League appearances, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 7.03.
More broadly, the Frenchman has made 72 appearances for City since joining from Atletic Bilbao, helping the club to win two Premier League titles, two League Cups, one FA Cup and one Community Shield.
As such, the fans’ descriptions of their centre-back seem fitting considering the success he has had in such a short time in Manchester.
