A group of Liverpool fans have been discussing what is believed to be the club’s third kit for next season, after a video emerged on social media. The Reds will wear Nike gear from the 2020-21 season after signing a lucrative deal with the American sportswear brand.
The Premier League leaders were forced to endure a court battle with their current suppliers New Balance after they claimed the Anfield club were refusing to honour the terms of their $52.6m-per-year deal (via CNN). However, the High Court ruled in Liverpool’s favour.
So while are certain next season’s kit will be manufactured by Nike, we cannot confirm whether or not this will be the design Jurgen Klopp’s side will line up in. Here’s what the supporters have made of it, anyway:
Gulf of Mexico camouflage? No thanks.

What do we think?
It’s clear that these Liverpool fans are less than impressed by the design. As previously mentioned, we currently have no way of knowing whether or not that is the official design of the club’s third kit for next season – but if it is, perhaps Nike should return to the drawing board based on the supporter feedback.
