Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to a recent post concerning Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.
This comes after Liverpool-focused Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally posted in an article from El Desmarque back in February.
The article claims that the Reds are interested in signing the Frenchman and have already made an offer for the 21-year-old.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were not entirely convinced by this rumour – though one gave a special mention to the Reds’ transfer guru Michael Edwards, who has been labelled as a key player in the building of Jurgen Klopp’s side that became European champions last summer.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Will Liverpool buy Kylian Mbappe this summer?
Yes
No
The forward is currently valued at £162 million according to Transfermarkt, making him the most valuable footballer on the planet. In this current season, Mbappe has managed to score 30 goals in 33 appearances across all competitions, whilst providing 17 assists as well. Now that this rumour of Liverpool’s interest in the Frenchman has resurfaced on Twitter, this has given lots of Reds fans the opportunity to share their thoughts on the matter.

What do we think?
Looking at these responses, it seems as though this link to Mbappe is being perceived as nothing more than just standard paper talk. But looking at Mbappe’s goal record this season, it would make sense that any club in world football would want him in their squad.
