Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to respond to the latest reported transfer news surrounding defender Dejan Lovren.
This comes after Liverpool-focused Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news originally published by Dominic King in an article for the Daily Mail.
The article claims that Reds manager Jurgen Klopp “retains a strong relationship” with Lovren and would be “happy to keep him as one of his four centre-back options next season before his contract expires in June 2021”.
King also added that despite Klopp’s admiration for the defender, there have been no talks of a new deal for the Croatian at Anfield.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to share their thoughts on this latest development.
Here’s a sample of Liverpool fans responding to the post:

Should Liverpool keep or sell Lovren this summer?
Keep him
Sell him
Since arriving at Anfield back in 2014, Lovren has gone on to make 184 appearances for the club, scoring eight goals and providing five assists (per Transfermarkt). Now that it has been reported that Klopp is supposedly happy for the 30-year-old to continue his time at Liverpool but yet to start talks over a new deal, this news has disappointed a lot of Reds fans.

What do we think?
It appears that this news has not gone down well with these Liverpool fans, who seemingly want Lovren to leave the Merseyside club sooner rather than later.
