Many Liverpool fans have been discussing how Timo Werner could fit into Jurgen Klopp’s starting eleven should the club sign the forward this summer. The German has been heavily linked with a move to Anfield for a number of months now, but would his potential arrival mean the breaking-up of the club’s famous front three?
The Liverpool Echo’s Kai Delaney has shared his idea on Twitter of how the Reds could accommodate the RB Leipzig striker without dropping Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino. Here’s how some of the fans have responded to his suggestion, which essentially sees Werner become part of a front four.

What do we think?
It seems that whilst some Liverpool fans would be excited by the prospect of Werner playing alongside the already devastating frontline, others have expressed concerns regarding the midfield balance – specifically the omission of Georginio Wijnaldum.
Werner has scored 21 goals and provided seven assists in 25 Bundesliga appearances this season; therefore, you can understand the temptation to shoehorn him into the starting eleven – but it remains to be seen whether or not Klopp will be willing to toy with the balance of his side if the German international is lured to Anfield in the near future.
