Liverpool fans on Twitter have been responding to the latest transfer update surrounding Kylian Mbappe.
This comes after Liverpool-focused Twitter account @AnfieldEdition shared a post on their page relaying news that was originally posted in a report by Le10 Sport.
The report claims that Liverpool now believe that they have a real shot at signing Mbappe in the near future and are positioning themselves to sign the Frenchman now, with it looking increasingly likely that he won’t sign a new deal with PSG.
This post then gathered a lot of replies from Liverpool fans who were eager to have their say on this latest development.

Who would you rather Liverpool sign this summer?
Kylian Mbappe
Timo Werner
The 21-year-old who is currently valued at £162 million according to Transfermarkt has been in fine form for the French club this season. In 33 appearances across all competitions, Mbappe has managed to score 30 goals and provide 17 assists so far this term (per Transfermarkt). Now that it has been reported that Mbappe could find himself at Anfield next season with a new deal at PSG looking unlikely, this sparked a big reaction on Twitter.

What do we think?
It seems as though some of these Liverpool fans are rather eager to see Mbappe leave Paris and join the Merseyside club.
