Spurs fans on Twitter have been reacting to the reported news that the North London club are having second thoughts about potentially signing Ajax ‘keeper Andre Onana.
According to De Telegraaf, via Sport Witness, the Lilywhites had been considering a move for the Cameroonian shot-stopper, but are now having second thoughts and plan on sticking with Hugo Lloris as their first-choice instead. The Spurs Web have since shared this news with fellow supporters of the North London club on Twitter, which gave plenty of fans the opportunity to have their say on the 24-year-old.
So far this season, the Ajax ace has made 24 appearances in the Eredivisie, averaging a solid 6.76 rating (per Whoscored). He has been linked with a host of clubs, including Spurs, in recent weeks and looked as if he could emerge as the long-term replacement for Lloris, however, this latest report seems to suggest that for the short-term at least, Jose Mourinho’s side will be sticking with the World-Cup winner.
Are you glad that Spurs seemingly won't be signing Onana?

Onana is a clown. It would be a return to the Gomes days.

Most of these Spurs fans seem to be happy that the club appears to have ended their interest in Onana for now, although a lot feel that the club still need to sign a new ‘keeper this summer.
What do we think?
Lloris has had a decent season when you factor in that he missed a significant period of time towards the beginning of the campaign due to an elbow injury. With the 33-year-old averaging a 7.04 rating in the Premier League, you can perhaps understand why the club seemingly won’t be pursuing Onana this summer.
