Having begun his career at Goodison Park, the 34-year-old rejoined the Toffees on a free transfer in 2017 for a season after 13 years with Manchester United (per Transfermarkt).

During his final year in Merseyside before moving stateside to join D.C. United, the attacker featured in 31 Premier League games, in which he scored ten and assisted two (per Transfermarkt).

What do we think?

As can be judged from the responses of Everton supporters, it is clear to see that they love the footage of the goal that Rooney scored, however, some still wish that he had another season in Merseyside.

The Englishman is currently with Derby County in the Championship and has bagged three goals and two assists in 11 league matches (per Transfermarkt), suggesting that the 34-year-old still has talent.
