A group of Charlton Athletic supporters have taken to Twitter to discuss the ongoing problems at their football club.
The EFL has launched an investigation into the January takeover by East Street Investments and the south-east London-based club are potentially facing a misconduct charge. Since Charlton changed hands, there has been a falling out between the club’s majority shareholder Tahnoon Nimer and ex-chairman Matt Southall – who was removed from the board of directors having been accused of misspending the club’s money (via TalkSPORT).
Charlton fan @Wallin58 claimed he wished the club didn’t exist at all so he ‘wouldn’t have to put up with’ the current situation, calling upon Nimer and Southall to ‘grow up’. His tweet caused much conversation amongst the Addicks faithful and here is how some of his fellow fans have responded to his post.
Completely get that feeling! Said to some friends this morning I feel like I just don’t care anymore, I’m not even able to bring myself to listen to the interviews. Of course I do care and always will, but it’s soul destroying.

I get that, feeling the same. I just want it all to stop! Had enough.

Neither looks like backing down, each are blaming the other for the current mess and we are stuck in the middle.
Can’t see a way out of this, unless the takeover can be proved null and void!#cafc

You’re not the only one. My feelings too. As Chiles said though “it’s the hope that kills you” Could be doing without this on top of everything else.

Can you see this feud ending in the near future?
Yes
No
I probably hate Southall and Nimer more than I hate Roland. And that’s saying something LOL

What do we think?
It’s clear from the above responses that these supporters have grown tired and fed up of the way those among the club’s hierarchy have been behaving. In the eyes of some, there is currently no light at the end of the tunnel and for those watching on, the entire debacle has become ‘soul-destroying’.
