This, after scoring two stoppage time goals to level. Against a side that would win the title that year.

Is David Moyes' long stint as manager of the Toffees perhaps underrated by some? No, overrated if anythingYes, should be respected |
The 56-year-old was gaffer at Goodison Park for 11 years between 2002 and 2013, having arrived from Preston North End and departed for Manchester United (per Transfermarkt).
Moyes oversaw 516 games at the helm of the Toffees, of which he won a respectable 219, drew 133 and lost 164 (per Transfermarkt) leaving fans with much to say about their former manager.
As an American Toffee, this seems mild compared to what I’m used to.

As I would be, Atkinson blowing the whistle with Jagielka bearing down on goal, to save the further blushes of Alex Ferguson. Wouldn’t have happened the other way around and that’s a fact.

At least he showed passion and cared for the club unlike some of the other managers we’ve had since he left (excluding Anchelotti) lol

What do we think?
As can be seen in the footage that was shared by @thetoffees_com, Moyes certainly did have a lot of passion during his long stint in charge of the Goodison Park club.
As can be judged from the responses from supporters, too, they have not forgotten that and clearly appreciated having a manager that wore his heart on his sleeve.
