Supporters of Everton have been reacting to a transfer report which has suggested that Bernard wants to leave Goodison Park.
According to Calciomercato, as cited by Sport Witness, the Brazilian attacker wants to reunite with his former Shakhtar Donetsk boss, Paulo Fonseca at Serie A side Roma (via Toffee TV), which supporters were not too unhappy with.

Sell him, he’s not up to it. Got him on a free so would be good for FFP, plus I presume he’s on big wages too.

I wouldn’t lose any sleep if he went too inconsistent

Would you mind if Bernard left Goodison Park in the next transfer window?Yes, he needs to stayNo, too inconsistent |
According to the report, the 27-year-old is ‘having difficulty’ under Carlo Ancelotti and would be available to leave Merseyside for a fee of €18-20m (£15.8-17.5m) in the next transfer window.
The report from Calciomercato came just a couple of days after LaRoma24.it, as cited by Sport Witness, claimed that Bernard had been offered to the Serie A outfit.

What do we think?
Perhaps it is the fact that Bernard has been only the 11th-best performer for the Toffees in the Premier League this season with a 6.66/10 average rating (per WhoScored) that means some fans would not mind seeing Bernard leave.
However, the 27-year-old winger has already taken to Instagram to air that his supposed desire to depart Everton for Serie A is a ‘lie’ (via Liverpool Echo).
