Is Dave Watson an Everton legend?YES, WATSON IS DEFINITELY A CLUB LEGENDNO, THAT IS TOO HIGH PRAISE |
Absolute legend no question. Put his body on the line every game in a poor side. Without Dave Watson we would now be a championship club or even worse. Not many players qualify for praise like that

What do we think?
As per Everton-focused website ToffeeWeb, “Ratcliffe became the youngest captain since Bobby Moore” to lead his team to FA Cup glory when his Everton side were victorious in 1984. With that in mind, it may be fair to say that Ratcliffe, who spent from 1980 until 1992 as a Toffees player, can be regarded as an Everton legend in his own right.
It also may be fair to say that the former defender is more than qualified to judge whether or not Watson should be known as a legend of the club. Therefore, it may be understandable why many Everton fans have been responding in agreement with Ratcliffe’s recent tweet.
