Supporters of Everton have been flocking to a Twitter post from the Toffees’ young attacker Anthony Gordon.
On Wednesday, the English youngster posted footage of himself doing some training in a park and stated: ‘Itching to get back now!!’ (per Anthony Gordon), which had lots of fans commenting.

The 19-year-old attacker has made just two substitute appearances for the Toffees in the Premier League so far this season in which he neither scored nor assisted (per WhoScored).
However, after the Everton youngster shared footage of himself to social media (per Anthony Gordon), lots of supporters could not help but praise him.

What do we think?
As can be judged from the responses from Everton supporters, they have plenty of anticipation around Gordon’s future with the Toffees, which is great to see.
However, if the youngster begins to get more first-team minutes under his belt, hopefully, he can improve upon the 6.25/10 average rating over his two substitute appearances in the league this season (per WhoScored).
