If we get JR, it would be the biggest signing in our history. It’s that simple. The guy is absolute class. I’m struggling to accept he’d even consider us. But then again, that’s the Carlo appeal.

Sigurdsson not good enough to lace Rodriguez’s boots

According to a heat map that I saw here, he plays more on the right side of the field, and if he plays here like that with Carlo it will be fantastic because our RW and LW need to build moves and not only give amplitude and present themselves for a play of dribble.

What do we think?
As per ‘Football Italia’, Ancelotti revealed that he is “very attached” to Rodriguez when speaking with Italian broadcaster ‘TV Luna’ back in July 2019, describing the Colombian as “a great player”.
The feeling may be mutual if Italian journalist Nicolò Schira is to be believed. Schira recently posted a tweet claiming that Rodriguez ‘would be keen’ to reunite with Ancelotti, who has signed the playmaker on two previous occasions, first during his tenure as Real Madrid boss and again during his stint as Bayern Munich manager.
It appears as though Ancelotti and Rodriguez have got some mutual respect for one another, considering that they are reportedly interested in working together again after previously linking up at both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. With that in mind, Everton may stand a good chance of luring the Colombian international to Goodison Park.
